Twin Rings
These are bespoke rings created to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of some dear friends. I cannot tell you how excited I get when a spouse calls me because they want to surprise their partner with one of my pieces. I truly enjoy the process, which starts with a conversation about the occasion and what they would like to express with the piece. I always ask whether there is something meaningful in their lives or the life of the person whom the jewelry is for. Sometimes, you really can translate a story into a piece of jewelry. In this case, we decided to create two rings that can be worn as one. We had ten diamonds placed in each ring to represent every year of their marriage. We added 2 beautiful aquamarines, the birthstone of their twin daughters, in two different shapes to represent their distinct personalities. If she wishes, one day my friend can pass on the two parts of the ring to her daughters.
