Lucy Diamond
This beautiful, powerful stone kept me going during the first months of lockdown in 2020. It is the Lucy Diamond that has belonged for many years to a very special woman in Brazil. Her grandson, who lives in London, inherited it and decided to surprise his wife, who is from France, with it for their twentieth anniversary. I was honored to take on this special task of transforming it, from NYC, into a ring that would express his love and gratitude for their lives together. I love this story because of all the connections it makes. The ring represents how memory passes through generations, the interchange of cultures, the power of love, and the unique and meaningful way that an intimate piece of jewelry can express a powerful connection.
